Middle School Confirmation Registration 2022-23

The St. Thomas More Newman Center & Sacred Heart Parishes have a combined Middle School Confirmation Program. For the 2022-23 academic year, Confirmation is open to students in 7th-12th grades. There will be separate preparation for middle and high school groups. Middle School will meet at the Newman Center most 1st & 3rd Sundays from 3-4:30pm October to April. High School meeting times will depend on the number of participants.

REQUIREMENTS: Each student must attend class sessions. In addition, each participant must complete 10 hours of community service preferably within his or her own parish, a day or weekend retreat, a letter to Bishop McKnight, and meeting with his or her pastor by April 2023. Students are also expected to meet with their sacramental sponsor several times throughout the year outside of scheduled events.

By filling out this form, you're acknowledging that you understand these rules and will comply with them. You also release the Newman Center, Sacred Heart, and all volunteers from being held liable for any illness or injury.

A complete list of requirements and deadlines will be available at our family meetings in September.

You can always contact Renee Molner about the High School program at renee.molner@comonewman.org or 573-449-5424 x 210 and Emily Shull about the Middle School program at emily.shull@comonewman.org or 573-449-5424 x 203.
